Recyclable coffee bags

You may have noticed we have some new look coffee bags, this is because we have made the switch to fully recyclable bags!

After much consideration, ensuring we have the best solution for our customers we have started to use coffee bags made from Low-density Polyethylene (LDPE 4). This high performing monoplastic material is designed to preserve the aroma and flavours of our high quality coffee, while being fully recyclable.

Our new bags are recyclable through existing recycling streams, this means recyclable at collection points of all major retailers, front of store initiatives and a growing number of curb side home recycling (please check with your local council).

With using this plastic we hope to contribute to the planet while also helping our customers increase their recycling, reducing their black bag waste and decreasing their carbon footprint as well. 

Our bags are now tougher and are packed more compactly, reducing the risk of tears and damage during transportation.
