Glastonbury is back!!
This week has seen the Glastonbury festival return once again, and surprisingly we are in the middle of a heatwave!
Our engineers have been onsite installing some short-term rental machines to some long-standing customers and Glastonbury staples. This year sees us install 10 espresso machines, so if you are lucky enough to be there this year pop by a coffee tent and grab a cup of Verde Coffee!
Back after a 2 year hiatus Glastonbury is bigger than ever, with tickets being completely sold out.
Heading this years line-up on the main stage is Billie Eilish, Sir Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar. With noticeable performances by Elbow, Diana Ross, Olivia Rodrigo and Kacey Musgraves throughout the day.
Glastonbury started back in 1970 but it didn’t start becoming a yearly calendar fixture until 1981 but even then some years have gone by without a festival either due to the great British weather or licencing permits.
If you have never been to Glastonbury you wouldn’t believe the size of the festival. Not only do they have multiple stages with acts on continuously but they also have set areas with different themes, such as an all night bonfire courtesy of Strummerville, a silent disco/cinema and even a Kidzfield where children can party with Basil Brush and Andy & The odd socks!
The fields are also surrounded by campsites, either bring your own tent or splurge and stay at ZigguCamps Glamping hotel.
Regardless of what music you are into Glastonbury really does have something for everyone… unless you are afraid of a little mud (or a lot of it!)
We are proud to have been part of setting up for Glastonbury over the past few years and look forward to many more with plenty of customers serving the masses a much needed coffee in the morning… or afternoon!
