Mallow Latte
A perfect drink for warming up around the bonfire!
Ingredients
- Double espresso
- Toasted Marshmallow syrup
- Steamed milk
Instructions
Combine a double espresso with 2 pumps syrup in the cup
Top up with steamed milk
Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate
This one is the perfect solution for a busy fireworks party - the hot chocolate can stay warm in the slow cooker whilst you enjoy the fireworks display!Ingredients
- 1l milk
- 300ml double cream
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 100g milk chocolate, chopped
- scorched marshmallows, to serve
- softly whipped cream, to serve
- grated chocolate, to serve
Method
Pour the milk and double cream into the slow cooker. Add the dark chocolate and milk chocolate, then cover and cook on low for 2 hrs, stirring halfway through cooking.
Remove the lid and stir again, then continue to cook for a further 15-20 mins. Ladle into mugs and top with the marshmallows, dollops of cream and grated chocolate.
Hot Apple Pie Punch
This one is like a hug in a mug, with an optional kick of rum!Ingredients
- 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- A good pinch ground cloves
- ½ whole grated nutmeg
- 2l apple juice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 6 scoops vanilla ice cream
- dark rum (optional)
Method
Put the cinnamon, ground cloves, nutmeg, apple juice and vanilla extract in a large saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer.When the apple juice has warmed through, add the vanilla ice cream and whisk vigorously with a balloon whisk until melted and combined with the hot apple juice – the ice cream should make a frothy top on the juice.
Pour a splash of dark rum into the bottom of the adults’ cups and top up with the hot punch. Garnish with Apple crisps.
