Picture Perfect Lattes

Spring is here and it’s time to add some fresh, new options to your coffee shop menu.

This season's key trend is floral lattes. These coffee or tea lattes are not only beautifully drinkable, they’re extremely instagrammable.

You have a few options to make floral lattes, using extracts, syrups or real flowers. We recommend using syrups to ensure consistency when making them in a commercial setting.

Popular flavours are hibiscus, lavender and rose. Try experimenting with dairy and non-dairy milks for the perfect combination.

Plus, besides tasting and looking great, sometimes floral lattes have more nutritional value, when using real flowers.

  1. MIx the hibiscus syrup into the milk.
  2. Pour the espresso shot into a mug. Sweeten with as much sugar, simple syrup, or honey as you'd typically want in a latte
  3. Steam the milk
  4. Pour the steamed milk into the mug with the coffee, holding back the foam created during frothing. Top the latte with the foam.
