Earthy autumn flavours

There’s so much to love about autumn, we always look forward to the new flavours and creative drink recipes the season inspires. One of our favourites is earthy, rich Beetroot, which can be added to your drinks using Zuma’s Organic Beetroot Powder. Not only does it boast a whole host of health benefits, it’s also turns your drinks a pretty, pink colour.

Here's some recipes using this autumnal flavour

Beetroot powder

 Bakewell Tart Iced Latte

  • 1 mini scoop Zuma Organic Beetroot powder
  • 1 pump Sweetbird Sugar-free Vanilla syrup
  • 1 shot espresso (optional)
  • Ice
  • Almond milk
  1. Combine beetroot, syrup and splash of hot water (or espresso) in a cup
  2. Pour into cocktail shaker, with ice cubes
  3. Add 200ml of almond milk
  4. Pour into cup to serve and top with fresh ice cubes

 

Breakfast Beet Frappé

  • Ice
  • Oat milk
  • 1 scoop Sweetbird Yogurt frappè
  • 1 mini scoop Zuma Organic Beetroot powder
  • 1 pump Sweetbird Banana purée
  1. Fill cup with ice
  2. Top up with milk (to 1 cm below top)
  3. Pour into blender jar, add frappé, beetroot powder and purée
  4. Place the lid on tightly and blend until smooth

Red Velvet Hot Chocolate

  • 1 scoop Zuma Fairtrade Dark hot chocolate
  • 1 mini scoop Zuma Organic Beetroot powder
  • Steamed milk
  1. Combine hot chocolate and beetroot in a cup
  2. Add a splash of hot water and mix into a smooth paste
  3. Add steamed milk, stirring as you pour

 

Beetroot Latte

  • 1 mini scoop Zuma Organic Beetroot powder
  • 1 pump Sweetbird Sugar-free Vanilla syrup
  • 1 shot espresso (optional)
  • Oat milk
  1. Combine beetroot, syrup and espresso in a cup
  2. Mix into a smooth paste
  3. Top with steamed oat milk, stirring as you pour
